Fri 14 DEC – 7.30pm – JAM JAR JAZZ @ Leigh Community Centre
After a packed out launch night at Chalkwell Hall in the summer, the tinkling jazz night returns for a candle-lit Christmas special at Cafe Valise, a pop-up cafe/venue run by Metal in a newly renovated space at Leigh Community Centre.
Expect vintage jazz classics and plenty of glamour as well as mulled wine, cocktails, and mine pies aplenty, with few Christmas numbers with a jazzy edge to really get you in the festive spirit. As well as your Jam Jar songstresses and hosts Hannah and Elisa, we’ve got the tremendous talents of pianist Ted Beament as well as Roger Curphy on bass and Alan Clarke on drums. Ashton Moore will be hopping up to add some groove with his sax and a super glamorous duo, both as cute as buttons, who’ll be in perfect harmony with some Andrews and Boswell Sisters tribute numbers.
Digby Fairweather will be coming back with his incomparable cornet playing as well as his wonderful yarns.
Perfect for a Christmas party, a drink with friends or just a trip out to listen to some fabulous, fun, jammed out jazz, book your tickets now!
£7.50/£5 concessions, £50 for a group of 10. Table bookings taken. All tickets come with a little surprise! Book here.
