Education Co–ordinator

2 x posts: 1 x Part time and 1 x Full time

£18,000 to £22,000 pa depending on skills and experience

Signals Media Arts Centre is a busy, award-winning, digital film education charity based in Colchester. Signals works across the region providing practical, production based projects and training, working largely with children, young people and disadvantaged groups.

Signals aims to increases participation in, and understanding of digital technologies and film by providing opportunities in film education and production. We are looking for two people with experience of working in arts education and an understanding of film production and/or new digital technologies to join the team in these key roles.

The Education Co-ordinators will devise and manage and deliver a range of projects and courses working in partnership with schools and community groups and other organisations. The role requires skills in project management and an understanding of media and arts education work.
Hours/days are flexible. Some evening and weekend work is expected. Own transport is desirable.

Communications Co–ordinator

£18,000 to £20,000 pro rata, 1 day per week, one year contract

Signals Media Arts Centre is a busy media and education charity based in Colchester. Signals works across the region providing practical, production based projects and training, working largely with children, young people and disadvantaged groups.

Signals aims to increases participation in, and understanding of, digital technologies and film by providing opportunities in film education and production. We are looking for someone with experience of working in marketing to join the team in this new post.

The Communications Co-ordinator will develop and deliver the communications plan working with print and social media. The role requires skills in project management and an understanding of, or interest in, working in the arts or charity sectors.

Hours/days are flexible.
