Am Undone: Conversing with [Margaret] (Deadline – 25th Aug)
Are you an [A]rtist? What constitutes your aesthetic identity?
Am Undone seeks submissions for residencies (1-10 days) at a studio in East London. Artists are invited to take part in practical and theoretical conversations with Margaret, to explore the factors of art practice that situate aesthetic identity.
These might include: the collaboration process, relationship to materials, social identities (class, gender, sexuality), narrative structures, transhumanism, presence and physicality.
Any methods considered, and the potential outcomes will be discussed as a part of each project.
The studio space is in East London, on the first floor, with no lift. If this presents a challenge for you please include in your proposal how we can facilitate the conversation.
Residencies available between 22/05/17 and 01/09/17. Applications accepted throughout or until schedule is filled.
Proposals (max. 500 words and 5 images) including preferred dates to firstname.lastname@example.org.
