Dawn of the Dead @ The Royals
Friday 31st October
Zombies Invade Southend Shopping Mall!!
Attention horror fans: This is The Big One! The all-time zombie classic, Dawn of the Dead (1978), found its heroes, facing a world-wide zombie holocaust, barricaded in a shopping mall. With no means of escape, and hordes of flesh-hungry zombies pounding on the doors, who would survive, and what would be left of them??
At The White Bus we are absolutely thrilled to be linking up with The Royals to celebrate Halloween in a truly unique way – by screening this true classic in the only place it should be seen – a ‘deserted’ shopping mall besieged by zombies! During this long, dark, spooky night, the Royals Shopping Centre in Southend’s High Street will be transformed into a haven of safety for those on the run from the zombies that are hell-bent on taking over the world: Those who can get past the ravenous hordes – and, yes, there will be zombies! – will be treated to the horror film event to end all horror film events!
Strictly ‘Over 18s’ only. Doors open 7.30pm. If anyone is still alive at 8pm, the film will screen then!
Best news of all: This wonderful once-in-a-lifetime event is FREE!! However, there are only 200 tickets available. Let the Royals know on Facebook that you intend to come along. The Royals reserves the right to refuse admission.
