Sonny (Dev Patel) has begun his dream of expanding his business with ‘The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel’, but it’s hard to balance running a hotel with planning a wedding.

With the first hotel proving a huge success, he needs to buy another to accommodate new guests Guy (Richard Gere) and Lavinia (Tamsin Grieg), while Evelyn (Judi Dench) and Douglas (Bill Nighy) have joined the workforce. Chaos ensues as the attempt to plan a traditional Indian wedding threatens to engulf them all.
